Cat Toys
As a fellow cat lover, I am always looking for the best places to buy cat toys as well as other supplies for my kitties. I thought I would create this website to tell people where I shop and where the best deals are to be found. It seems that one thing is consistent when it comes to picking good cat toys. Stick to the catnip toys. As you probably know, a little stuffed catnip toy will drive your furball crazy. Kittens and large kitties alike just can’t resist the essence of catnip especially when its stuffed into a little toy.
I suggest you keep the catnip toys in a sealed bag in a cupboard. Then give those toys out like treats. If you leave them out all the time, you’ll have your little feline friends walking around stoned all of the time form the catnip in the toys. If your animal is one of the ones unresponsive to catnip toys then stick with the more traditional long and dangling cat toys. They are the second most popular among my pets.
Best cat toys for kittens
Kittens are a true joy. It is so much fun to just sit and watch them play like little kids full of energy. The best toy I can recommend for your little kitties is the long dangling toy on the end of a stick or a bunch of feathers on the end of a stick. It allows you to interact with the animal in a fun way. You can make them do all kinds of silly tricks with those toys. Another great toy that doesn’t require any active participation on your part is those little furry mice that have an inch long tail on them and are super light. It helps when they are really light so its easier for the kitty to push them around. She can grab one with both paws and flip right over on her back with it.
Must have toys for every cat
Some things in life are free. Just like little kids and their toys, cats are sometimes more entertained with some regular plain old things lying around the house. Two things come to mind right away, empty boxes and Kleenex. My cats love both. Set an empty cardboard box down and watch who immediately jumps in it to claim it as their property. Drop a Kleenex while the cat is around and be prepared for five minutes of free entertainment.
